  • PVA water soluble properties makes it a great material for many unique applications such as water soluble laundry bags, biowaste or food waste, water soluble single use PPE and so on. PVA can be designed to dissolve at various temperature meaning it will provide the needed resistance when needed for specific applications.

  • Because PVA is hydrophilic, meaning that it attracts water, it makes it difficult for viruses and microbes to attach to the film's surface. Second, PVA film is a good electrical insulator which means that it can block the passage of electrons which are essential for the growth of many viruses and microbes.

    The combination of PVA film's intrinsic properties and its ability to be modified with other materials makes it a promising material for use in food packaging, medical devices, and other applications where resistance to viruses and microbes is important.
